Recently in 8th grade reading, students completed an informational "tic-tac-toe" menu to show their mastery of the non-fiction skills we have been learning! Students were able to choose their own informational article to read and 3 activities they wanted to complete from the menu! Afterwards, students were able to share new information they learned with an "Article Talk" activity.
This project was a great way to motivate students to read informational texts they were interested in and differentiate at the same time!
